Frequently asked questions

What is Table for Forty?

Table for Forty helps you book group dinners for 8 and up in New York and Philadelphia. Each space shows one all-in price, with tax, service and gratuity included, so you see the full cost before you send a request.

Do I pay a booking fee?

No. There are no booking fees for you. You pay the venue's food and beverage charges, and a deposit holds your date once the venue says yes.

What kinds of spaces are listed?

Private rooms, semi-private spaces and reserved tables. Each listing says which.

How big a group can I book?

Groups of 8 and up. Each space lists how many it seats.

What does all-in mean?

The all-in price is the venue's food and beverage minimum or menu price, plus its service charge and sales tax. If you spend above the minimum, each line grows with it.

How does booking work?

Pick a space, or tell us your date, headcount and budget. The restaurant confirms, then a deposit holds your date. Nothing is charged when you send a request.

What is the cancellation policy?

Deposits are fully refundable up to 7 days before your event date. Inside that window a deposit is not refundable, but it may be applied to a new date, subject to availability, and the venue confirms every change.
